Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) criticized Gov. Ron DeSantis’ (R-FL) cultural war campaign when visiting a liberal arts college in Sarasota, Florida, on Wednesday.
Newsom criticized Florida’s anti-woke limitations on books in classrooms, election reform laws, and more while snuggling with students at the New College of Florida, that are fighting over DeSantis’s effort to destroy the liberal refer of the university. His comments were made while he was traveling red states for his “Campaign for Democracy.”
