In an interview on “Fox News Sunday” on Easter Sunday, Senator Lindsey Graham set a gloomy tone, alerting China and Russian territorial expansion and declaring that the United States must “raise our game” to be ready for upcoming military actions across the world.
The issue, according to Graham, a Republican senator from South Carolina, is “Putin and it’s Xi,” pointing to the authorities of China and Russia, who he claims have gained confidence as a result of the United States dismal exit from Afghanistan in 2021.
The Communist Chinese party will put us to a serious test in the current year and the upcoming year well before the election, Graham stated to the media, and he believes they are preparing the ground for a possible boycott of Taiwan.
“West Berlin was targeted by the Russians in 1961. So, I’m worried that the Chinese might be putting in place a boycott of Taiwan in the upcoming weeks or months. If this happens, we must strike back hard.”
