Social Security Administration ensures its beneficiaries distribute the Supplemental Security Income or SSI checks on the same day, regardless of which state they reside. However, it does not guarantee the exact day when the recipients will receive the SSI cash.
What is the Fastest Way to Receive Cash from SSI Check?
In previous years, pensioners could receive the SSI check through a physical check sent by Social Security. The letter with the check would arrive in the recipient’s mailbox. Then the recipient must go to their bank to receive the cash.

Nowadays, only two methods of collecting cash from SSI check is used:
The first method is the Bank Deposit, and the second is the Direct Deposit.

Social Security has posted its schedule of payments for SSI checks in March, as follows:

Make sure to have an activated account in Direct Deposit to receive the cash on the same day. Meanwhile, if you use the bank deposit, you can wait up to three days for the cash to arrive. You can use the My Social Security to check its status.
