Trump Endorsement Staying Ahead in the Polls
The polls consistently show that former President Trump endorsement has a double-digit lead over Florida governor, who is widely expected to announce his own presidential run in the coming months. The world of DeSantis, though, is steadily losing critical supporters. Recently, Never Back Down, a super PAC supporting DeSantis, recruited Bill Stern, Trump’s 2020 South Carolina state finance chair, to serve as a senior advisor.
Seeing Florida’s success, more and more people around the country are calling for Governor Ron DeSantis to take the helm in the White House, stated Stern in a press statement on Thursday. When the government and the corporations sought to silence them, Stern elaborated that these men and women stood up for their their businesses, children’s education, and their freedoms. For far too long, Republicans have been reluctant to run for office for fear of political reprisal.
Stern stated that he is “endorsing” the Florida governor and joining his PAC because the Republican Party “needs Governor DeSantis to run for president” in 2024. Erin Perrine, who previously worked as Trump endorsement 2020 press communications director, forwarded the news release. The former deputy director of communications for Trump, Matt Wolking, has also come out in support of DeSantis.

Trump Recently Snagged the Endorsement of Rep. Byron Donalds
Trump endorsement campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung responded to the adjustment by referencing the two prior presidential runs of the former president. It’s not just DeSantis who’s been doing the Electric Slide in politics. DeSantis’s longtime buddy, Republican Florida State Representative Byron Donalds, recently endorsed Trump. Only one leader in our country’s history has the ability to grab the opportunity and provide the solutions we need to restore our nation’s greatness.
So, as the Republican governor of Florida remarked earlier this month, “I am proud to endorse President Donald J. Trump for President in 2024, and I ask my fellow Americans to join me.” Donalds joined Florida Republican Representatives Matt Gaetz and Anna Paulina Luna in backing the ex-president, making him the third legislator in the Sunshine State to do so. While many Republicans still support Trump endorsement, some are looking to DeSantis as their candidate for president.
Although Governor DeSantis of Florida has not yet declared his candidature for president, Republican Representative Chip Roy of Texas, who has a contentious history with Trump, has already endorsed him. “Governor DeSantis makes clear he would lead our nation as commander in chief with the kind of resolve and sober strength that produces peace through strength,” Roy wrote in an email to supporters in March.
