Former St. Louis Police sergeant Jim Dandridge has called for the removal of St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner for dismissing several cases of Daniel Riley.

According to Fox News 17, 21-year-old Daniel Riley is charged with assault after hitting a Tennessee teen. Deputies said Riley was an unlicensed driver who ignored the yield sign at the intersection of St. Charles and North 11th streets in downtown St. Louis. He proceeded to crash with Edmonson’s car. As a result, the legs of the 16-year-old Janae Edmondson were amputated.

Riley also has several charges, including 1st-degree robbery and armed criminal action in August 2020. Fox News said Dandridge’s son was also one of the victims of Riley, which he robbed at gunpoint in 2020.

In the meantime, Riley was out on bond and was supposed to be on house arrest. Reports say Riley had violated his bond conditions more than 50 times, including ten within the month before hitting Edmonson. Riley has pleaded to 2nd-degree felony assault. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 3.

Is Attorney Kim Gardner Going to be Dismissed?

Dandridge called out the Far-left Prosecutor, Attorney Kim Gardner, and accused her of incompetence and jeopardizing public safety. He also expressed his sympathy to Edmonson through America’s Newsroom. He was set to testify before the Missouri legislature to protest Gardner’s leadership.

Dandridge told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that Gardner’s have dismissed his son’s case against Riley. He said he was contacted by a local reporter who revealed the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office dismissed the charges because “the victim of the robbery was deceased.” Later, a separate case was revealed involving a dead person with the same first name as his son. The prosecutor’s office had mixed up the case.

Fox News reports Attorney General Andrew Bailey filed a petition quo warranto on Thursday for the removal of Attorney Gardner. The Missouri Supreme Court has appointed Judge John P. Torbitzky to adjudicate the procedure. Among the basis of the removal is the neglect of her duties in the Riley case.

On the other hand, Attorney Gardner released a press conference last week and said, “numerous individuals that have an agenda to make sure that my office does not succeed.” She also denied the allegation that she did nothing in Riley’s case, albeit her actions were lacking.
