Sex trafficking charges against a New Jersey man who reportedly enticed two teenage girls to the Garden State, then he proceeded to beat and rape the girls so they would do unlawful intercourse work for his satisfaction.

New Jersey Man Went Behind Bars After Allegedly Sex Trafficked Two Teenage Girls In New York
Walter “Laron” Melvin, 29 years old, was accused of two counts each of sex trafficking of two teenage girls over the reported prostitution plan for over several weeks, reported by the DA’s office. He was taken to the court on Friday in the New York State Supreme Court.
Every charge against the suspect is a class B felony under New York State Law.
It is yet to be clear if the two girls, aged 15 and 16 years old, were involuntary to have sex for cash. The DA’s press release reported the suspect personally scheduled for men to visit his home to engage one of the girls in sexual intercourse via online advertisements.
Two Teenage Girls Beat And Raped In New York, Suspect Now Behind Bars
The suspect is now being held without bail in a jail in the New York City borough of Queens and the East Elmhurst neighborhood.
The Empire State is the only U.S. state where the lowest-level court is known as the “Supreme Court”. The suspect is now charged in New York State Supreme Court.
