Teachers Searching for Vape Sued After Forcing a Student to Strip to Her Underpants (PHOTO: TRANE)
The mom of an eighth-grader student is filing a lawsuit against an Ohio middle school after her daughter, the victim, was forced to strip to her underpants and was held forced – against her will – by teachers that were looking for a vape pen.

Middle School Sued After Teachers Forced a Student to Strip to Her Underpants
The family of the girl sued the Willoughby Eastlake Schools Board of Education and three East Lake Middle School staff members in the US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio on the 28th of December about the incident on the 7th of September.
Based on the lawsuit, the 8th-grader girl allowed her friend to place a vape pen in her locker. In that day, the principal of their school asked her in the office and then ordered an untrained nurse’s aide to conduct a body search.
The representative of the family, Jarod Klebanow, Managing Member of Klebanow Law LLC, said that the search was unreasonable.
Student Forced to Strip by Her Teachers, School Received A Lawsuit From her Family
The complaint clearly says the school violated the students’ constitutional rights, to be specific, the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments to the Constitution of the United States.
When the student was asked how she was doing after the disturbing incident, Klebanow said that the girl is still struggling with what happened, she has a strong support system at her home which will hopefully help and support her continue to heal.
