Arrested: Florida Man Reportedly Threw a Christmas Three at His Wife
Research shows that women bare with the effort when it comes to holidays, and for one woman, the Christmas holiday turned dark because she asked her husband for help. 52-year-old, Richard Daniel Atchison was reported because he threw a Christmas tree at his wife.
According to a published post by Yahoo Life, the wife of the suspect was said to be making dinner in their house in Florida, Fruitland Park, when she asked for her partner’s help, which got him mad. The wife also unintentionally got him wet after she dropped a spoon in their sink, which made him furious. By this time, the man stated that he was going to pack his things and leave.

However, when the victim attempted to get out of the house, he used physical force to prevent her from leaving. Atchison was said throwing a part of the Christmas tree at the victim. The wife tried to hide but Atchison still followed. He was said to be shouting at his wife even when the Police arrived.
The suspect told the Police that he and his spouse were arguing when she slammed the spoon into hot water that slammed on his face. He also admitted that he had been drinking.
Atchison was arrested due to felony charges of Violation of an injunction, false imprisonment, and domestic battery. The man has been going back and forth in jail 23 times since 1997, 5 of which are related to domestic violence.
