A Wyoming woman was arrested and charged after she was accused of injuring and killing a 5-year-old girl on November 25.
Wyoming Woman Killed a 5-Year-Old Girl
Police authorities responded to a call after they received a report about an unconscious girl. In the official news release from Kemmerer Police Chief Michael Kahre, he said that they responded to a home on Nov.25, in the afternoon, after they received a call.
The report was about an unconscious girl. When they arrived at the home, they confirmed and found an unresponsive female child. At the scene, police said they found the victim “laying on the couch in the living room,” according to a report in the TRUE CRIME DAILY.
They interviewed the 51-year-old woman Cheri Lynn Marler but she was not consistent about how the girl got her injuries. Meanwhile, the girl was reportedly transported to the South Lincoln Medical Center and airlifted to Primary Children’s Hospital in Utah. Kahre said the girl died from her injuries the next day.

Wyoming Woman Was Arrested and Charged
The Wyoming woman was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse. However, police authorities did not disclose the relationship of the woman to the 5-year-old girl.
Moreover, the Kemmerer Police Department thanked all law enforcement agencies who helped them to solve the crime. These are the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, the Lincoln County Attorney’s Office, the Diamondville Police Department, and the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.
