‘White House is Full of Hypocrites,’ Abbott Said in Defense of Dumping Migrants off at The Vice President’s House

Texas Governor Greg Abbott criticized the Biden administration harshly on Monday in response to criticism of Abbott’s latest plan to transport undocumented migrants to Washington, D.C., and leave them alone at Vice President Kamala Harris’ house on Christmas Eve in ridiculously low temperatures.

The governor’s office responded to Biden spokesperson Abdullah Hasan’s criticism of Abbott’s action as a “harsh, violent, and shameful stunt” by declaring that “the White House is full of a bunch of hypocrites, led by the Hypocrite-in-Chief who has been flying planeloads of migrants across the country and frequently in the cover of night.”

Abbott’s office added, “These migrants actively elected to travel to Washington, D.C., have signed a voluntary consent waiver accessible in many languages onboarding that they agreed on the location. El Paso, a border town in Texas, has declared a state of emergency due to the Biden-caused disaster. “They were processed and released by the federal government, who are dumping them at historic amounts in El Paso.”

Unauthorized immigrants who entered the country through Texas last summer were transported to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, after reportedly completing consent papers under false premises.

Even though Abbott has previously sent buses full of undocumented immigrants to Harris’ home as part of his administration’s practice of using asylum seekers as a political football against Democratic states, the choice to do so on Christmas Eve in intensely cold weather has encouraged opposition to his office.
