While DeSantis and Haley Losing, Poll Shows Trump Defeating Biden

In a possible 2024 contest, former President Trump beats President Biden, whereas Biden beats former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley (R) and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R).

According to an Emerson College poll, Trump leads Biden by 4 points, with 46% of respondents saying they might favor the former president in a matchup in 2024 compared to 42% who might support the president.

The survey shows that Biden has a 4-point advantage against DeSantis (44 to 40%) and a 3-point advantage over Haley (40 to 37%) in their head-to-head contests. Although Haley declared her candidacy last month, DeSantis has not yet publicly begun his 2024 campaign.

Many people believe that Trump’s main competitor for the GOP nomination is the governor of Florida. As in polls, DeSantis is the probable GOP candidate most similar to the previous president.

According to the Emerson College study, Trump would currently receive 55% of the vote in a possible 2024 Republican primary, whereas DeSantis would receive 25% of the vote. Mike Pence, a former vice president, is in 3rd place with 8%, followed by Haley in 4th with 5%.

He’s already made it known that he wants to compete for reelection, but Biden still has not officially declared his 2024 candidacy. According to a Politico article published last week, the president isn’t longer “totally convinced” of his plans, however, Biden’s supporters have mostly dismissed the claims.
