Millions of Americans across the country are always waiting for tax rebates season. It is a period where the taxpayers will have an additional source of money by claiming their tax rebates. The only thing that taxpayers need to do is to file their latest and updated tax returns.
Starting today, residents or taxpayers in North Dakota can now file their 2022 tax returns. This also coincides with when the IRS begins processing tax returns. According to a published article in The U.S. Sun, residents in the state for the whole year are eligible for the tax return.
Single filers will receive an amount of $350 while those who are jointly filing will receive an amount of $700. However, all taxpayers and filers are reminded that these are temporary and will expire next year.

What to Do to Claim the Rebates?
Those who have filed their 2022 tax returns do not need to take further action. Moreover, everyone has until April 18 to file and qualify for the funds. However, state officials advise not to delay and file electronically if possible.
North Dakota Tax Commissioner Brian Kroshus said, “In 2022, 92 percent of North Dakotans filed their individual income tax returns electronically. We continue to encourage taxpayers to e-file, as it is the fastest and most secure way. Filing electronically can improve taxpayers’ refund process through security, accuracy, and timeliness.”
