Social Security Administration distributes the Social Security check into two groups: those who retired before 1997 will always receive the checks on the same day. The second group, those who retired after 1997, is divided into three groups, each receiving the checks on three different days.

Social Security recipients are expected to receive their April paychecks on the following days: April 12, April 19, and April 26.
Recipients born between the 1st and 10th of the month will receive their Social Security checks on April 12. Those born between the 11th and 20th of the month will receive it on April 19. And Social Security recipients born between the 21st and 31st of the month will receive the checks on April 26.
