TikToker Dylan Mulvaneyis Sharing Thoughts on Critics

TikToker Dylan Mulvaney talks about her haters and what she thinks about them. The trans activist, who is 26, is speaking out about why she thinks she’s been getting more and more criticism after partnering with brands like Nike and Bud Light for paid social media posts. In recent weeks, other notable figures like Caitlyn Jenner have spoken out against companies partnering with trans women as their brand ambassadors.

Dylan said on the April 11 episode of the Onward With Rosie O’Donnell podcast, “I think I’m an easy target because I’m still new to this.” “I think it’s a lot harder to catch a trans woman who has been in this for 20 years. Maybe they think there’s a chance they can get something from me, but what are they trying to do?”

TikToker Dylan Mulvaney got a lot of attention in 2022 when she shared details about her transition journey with her followers. When she posted an ad for Bud Light on April 1 and photos of herself in Nike workout gear a few days later, she got a lot of negative comments about her latest deals. In answer, Nike told social media users to “be kind” in a direct message.

Trying to Remain Positive

The company said in a message that was pinned on the comment section of their April 6 Instagram post saying, “You are an important part of the success of your community.” “We accept comments that add to a positive and helpful conversation. Be kind, include everyone, and cheer each other on. Hate speech, threats, and other actions that don’t fit with the idea of a diverse and welcoming community will be taken down.”

Dylan also sent a heartfelt message in which she said she has been trying to stay upbeat. In her most recent Instagram post, she showed a clip of herself singing a song “No One Is Alone.”

The TikToker Dylan Mulvaney wrote with her April 8 Instagram video, “It’s hard to see the light now, just don’t let it go. This song felt fitting for the week I’ve been having. All is well! Cheers.”
