Three New $500 Relief Payments Coming In The New Year
THREE states offered direct payment to their residents to provide some help for their much-needed financial relief. Residents in New Mexico, Kansas, and Virginia can expect to receive next year some payments sometimes once plans are finalized.
The following states mentioned might be offering one-time expenses to their residents that are struggling. The pandemic states like California, Massachusetts, Idaho, Hawaii, and other states have all offered clever ways to put cash into the wallets of their residents.
The checks are made to help Americans that are struggling with higher prices in gas, food, shelter, and other needs.
1. New Mexico – TBD
The state is expected to have a $3 3.6 billion surplus for Residents of New Mexico, they might see additional relief payments. Specific amounts and requirements will need to be discussed but Lawmakers are considering giving its residents tax rebates.
2. Virginia – $500
The City of Alexandria is offering money over nearly 170 participants for two years they could get $500 a month as part of a new UBI program. To be eligible for the payments, you should be 18 years old and older, a resident there have a household income at or below 50% of the area median income. According to city officials, the first check is expected to be issued to people in the last week of January 2023.
3. Kansas – amounts may vary
The City of Iola is offering people tax rebates for commercial, residential, and industrial properties. The money is to promote the revitalization of the community and development by stimulating new construction, restoration, conservation, or redevelopment. Properties that are eligible for rebates may vary and can be checked on the city’s website.

According to a published post by The US Sun, Californians are expected to get payments worth between $200 and $1,050 by January 2023. The States are offering relief
On the other hand, those people that filed Colorado state rebate tax returns by October 17 are in line to pocket a rebate worth up to $750. According to state officials, joint filers are anticipated to receive a huge amount of $1,500.
While in Idaho, about 800,000 rebates worth up to $600 will be sent out across the state by March 2023 next year. Millions of residents in New Jersey have until January 31, 2023, to apply for a worth of up to $1,500 for a property rebate. Approximately 870,000 homeowners are expected to pocket money for the maximum of a $1,500 rebate.
