Authorities in Los Angeles were chasing stolen armed police cruiser with guns in the back on Monday. The suspect was seen wearing a shirt with what looked to be the word “Security”.

Police Report On The Stolen Armed Police Cruiser

In the reports, the police pursuit started around 1:30 pm in the South Los Angeles neighborhood of West Rancho Dominguez.

According to authorities, the suspect stole the cruiser from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department while it was parked, and a chase then started.

SkyFOX video captures the motorist barreling westbound on the 91 freeway, dodging other cars, and reaching speeds of 160 mph before abandoning the freeway in the Anaheim-Fullerton region of Orange County.

The Aftermath of The Incident

Police were spotted chasing the woman into an industrial yard dead end. Before making the suspect into an arrest, deputies used a PIT maneuver to trap her in and remove her from the cruiser.

The suspect was seen wearing a shirt with what looked to be the word “Security” written across the back. The Los Angeles Police Department issued a statement congratulating the responding officers and announcing that the suspect was taken into custody and would be charged with numerous offenses in connection with the event.

The officials are still looking into further information concerning the incident. There were no reported injuries.
