In 2022, around 20 states have declared to provide stimulus payments (State Stimulus Checks) to citizens through one form or another. And millions of Americans and residents haven’t received their money, and still waiting for it. If you are from one of the 12 states mentioned below, and you haven’t received your check. Then don’t worry, maybe your check is in the email box. Below we will be going to study stimulus checks in 12 states.
California
Some of the Californians who are eligible received Middle-Class Tax Refund payments in October of up to $1,050. When it comes to direct deposits they will be sent by 14 November. And debit card payments will be made by 14 January 2023.
Colorado
To prevent and avoid fraud, colorado has already given checks worth $750, and for joint fillers, it’s around $1,500. And most of them are received by residents by 30 September. But if you have filed for a tax extension and haven’t received it yet, you will be going to receive your checks by 31 January 2023.
Delaware
If you haven’t received your Delaware Relief Rebate payment and you are eligible, then you can apply for a stimulus payment worth $300. The given time period is a 30-day application that will end on 30 November.
Hawaii
It is dependent on when Hawaiians filed their taxes, eligible residents of Hawaii will receive their payments before 31 December of around $300.
Idaho
Qualified and eligible residents will receive payments worth $300, and $600 for couples. They will receive these payments thought-out the year 2022, and in early 2023 as well.
Illinois
Illinois is providing two rebates: one worth $50 and the other for $300. And the first checks will be delivered on 12 September, and also it will take some months to be issued.
Indiana
Indiana is issuing two tax refunds: one for $125 and the other for $200, this is for single filers. These consider different eligibility requirements and some already received their payments, the residents who are eligible for both.
Maine
Maine is providing stimulus checks to eligible taxpayers worth $850. They are providing it throughout the year on the basis of tax returns order.
Massachusetts
The residents will get a refund of around 14.0312% as their 2021 personal income tax liability. The first payment will be sent on 1 November and will continue to be sent till mid-December.
Rhode Island
Eligible residents who filed their taxes by 31 August will get a Child Tax Credit of up to worth $750 in October. And those who filed by 17 October, will receive their rebates in early December.
South Carolina
In South Carolina, the state has issued payments worth $700. And those who filed their taxes by 17 October, will get their payments by 31 December.
Virginia
Residents who filed their taxes by 1 November and who are eligible will get payments of around $250 and for couples $500. They will receive payments in tax returns order.
