Through the Affordable Connectivity Program, qualified SNAP recipients may be eligible to receive up to a $30 monthly discount on internet service or a $75 monthly discount if a household is located on eligible tribal lands, or a one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer and a low-cost service plan covered by the ACP. Through the Federal Communications Commission’s Lifeline program, eligible SNAP participants can also receive a free mobile phone.
FARMER’S MARKETS
Fresh Access Bucks (FAB), a project of Feeding Florida, is a state-wide nutrition incentive program that motivates SNAP beneficiaries in Florida to utilize their benefits at farmers’ markets, produce stands, CSAs, mobile markets, and community grocery stores. You will earn $1 in Fresh Access Bucks if you use your EBT card to make a $1 fresh food purchase.
