How SNAP Works?

Beneficiaries are paid into SNAP accounts, which are linked to EBT cards. Most grocery stores and approved retailers accept SNAP EBT cards. Swipe your card through the card reader at checkout, just like you would a debit or credit card, and enter your PIN. Depending on where you live, you may also be able to use your EBT card to purchase food online at select retailers.

The NCOA states that you must recertify your eligibility on a regular basis to avoid interruptions in your benefits.
