In 2023, residents from any of these states will get bonus stimulus money.
As long as citizens follow the correct procedures to apply for and receive these benefits, these five states are providing residents with payouts of up to $1,500. According to the Report, some payments would be issued to residents as early as January whereas others will be sent later during the year.
CALIFORNIA
Many Californians have already received their Middle-Class Tax Refunds, but 5% of those who qualified are still waiting. By the end of January 2023, the last rounds of direct deposits and state-issued debit cards are expected to be distributed.
COLORADO
Residents of Colorado who have not yet got this payment from the state because they filed their tax returns late will get it before January 31 of the following year. For single filers, this payout will be worth $750, and for joint filers, it will be valued at $1,500.
IDAHO
On September 1, the Gem State approved rebates for the 2022 Special Session, which will all be distributed by the end of March 2019. Based on the Idaho State Tax Commission, the sum that full-year residents will get from this will be $300 for single filers and $600 for joint filers or 10% of the taxes paid recorded on a taxpayer’s 2020 income tax bill, depending on which is higher.
NEW JERSEY
Residents in New Jersey will get a different amount depending on their income; those working under $150,000 will get $1,500, while those making between $150,000 and $250,000 would receive $1,000. Based on the New Jersey Department of Taxation, renters will also receive a rebate, but they will only receive a $450 credit and must make less than $150,000 yearly.
SOUTH CAROLINA
However, others have till February 15 of the coming year to file their taxes to earn this rebate, which they will get in March 2023. Residents who filed their 2021 SC Individual Income Tax Return by October 17 will get this refund before the end of the year.
