‘Sex/Life’ was Canceled at Netflix

The erotic drama ‘Sex/Life’ is over on Netflix and will never be renewed after Sarah Shahi who portrays lead Billie Connelly signed a contract at ABC’s newest legal drama, Judgement. The show aired its second season with six episodes.

In an interview on Deadline, a Netflix spokesperson said Sex/Life has brought to its natural closure by ending the relationships of the characters to a happy conclusion. According to the Netflix representative, the streamer is proud of the show for all the work put into it by the producers, cast, and crew.

Sarah Shahi ‘Struggles with the Material’

With regards to the said ‘natural closure’ of the show, Shahi revealed that she didn’t have the same support she received as she did during the first season of the show.

The actress admitted in her interview on ‘Not Skinny but Not Fat’ that it became a much different thing for her. She also admitted that she struggles with the material in the second season of the show. She directly said she ‘will never going to work with Netflix again’.
