Secret documents discovered at houses of Trump, Biden, and Pence are now available to “Gang of 8”

After a campaign of criticism from senators promising to withdraw money, people aware of the case say that the Department of Justice has started to allow certain lawmakers exposure to the sensitive content found in President Biden and former President Trump’s houses.

The Gang of 8, which consists of the top 4 congressional lawmakers and the chairman of the Republican and Democratic intelligence committees in the Senate and the House, received the documents. They contain a collection of papers uncovered at the residence of former Vice President Mike Pence.

Following months of concerns from Congress and promises from the DOJ and intelligence agencies, which maintained that giving over these sensitive things was made more difficult by the appointment of 2 special counsels examining the case, the government finally gave in.

The first to report on the development was Punchbowl News.
