Republicans allegedly react when Energy Department claims COVID-19 likely developed in a Chinese lab: “We need solutions”

As it was discovered that the COVID-19 outbreak was most likely caused by an unintentional lab leak in China, congressional Republicans reacted on Twitter on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Wall Street Journal, which mentioned a classified intelligence report lately given to the White House and important members of Congress, the Energy Department, which was previously unsure of the cause of the pandemic, now confirms with the FBI that the coronavirus probably spread because of a mistake at a Chinese laboratory.

Democrats, major news organizations, scientists, and social media firms universally rejected the lab leak theory as a fraud and “misinformation” in the early stages of the outbreak. The theory suggests that the virus originated from a lab leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in Wuhan, China.

Republicans are now demanding answers from the Chinese Communist Party as proof that it is too responsible for the pandemic increases.

Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., tweeted that “being proven right doesn’t matter” about China’s lab leak. Holding the Chinese Communist Party responsible is crucial to preventing future incidents.
