House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan on Thursday seeks testimony with regard to the indictment of former U.S. President Donald Trump.
Rep. Jim Jordan sent a letter to ask for the voluntary cooperation of Matthew Colangelo in the committee’s investigation into the indictment of the former U.S. President.
Jim Jordan requests Matthew Colangelo to present all the documents he has in connection to his communication with the District Attorney’s Office discussing Donald Trump or Donald Trump’s Organization dated between June 22, 2021, to December 22, 2021.
The letter of Jordan came after Mark Pomerantz decline to cooperate with regard to the investigation of the indictment of the former U.S. president. Jim Jordan subpoenaed Mark Pomerantz who was the former Manhattan prosecutor who had been leading the investigation of the former U.S. president Donald Trump.
Jordan ordered Mark Pomerantz to testify before the committee this April 30. The subpoena is the latest escalation by the Republicans as they investigate Alvin Bragg a few days after the former president was charged with a 34-counts of felony with regards to the hush-money scheme that involves the porn star actress Stormy Daniels. Unfortunately, Pomerantz refused to voluntarily cooperate with the committee’s request.
