Problems with Putin Allies Strong Warning of Potential Nuclear War in Europe

Vladimir Putin’s friend Viktor Medvedchuk has offered a serious warning over the danger of a nuclear war emerging in Europe.

The comments were made by Medvedchuk, a pro-Kremlin Ukrainian oligarch who was freed by Kyiv as part of a prisoner exchange with Russia in September 2022. Medvedchuk wrote the article for the Russian daily broadsheet newspaper Izvestia.

The 68-year-old and Putin are good friends, and Putin is thought to be the godfather of the 68-year-youngest old’s daughter. The SBU of Ukraine seized Medvedchuk in April after he escaped house arrest while facing treason accusations. Medvedchuk was the previous head of a pro-Russian opposition party in Ukraine. He no longer has Ukrainian citizenship, according to Kyiv.

The full-scale assault on Ukraine by Putin, which began on February 24, 2022, was “not restricted to Ukraine,” according to Medvedchuk, who wrote the article on Monday.

He claimed that by assisting Kyiv, Ukraine’s European allies would bring the crisis closer to home.

“Ukraine is now teaching Europe how to acquire economic collapse and poverty also with the support of a policy of hatred and intransigence, not Europe teaching Ukraine politics,” stated Medvedchuk. “And if Europe continues to follow this course of action, it will be led into a battle, maybe a nuclear one.”

Putin stated that Russia was ready to use nuclear weapons in September 2022 to preserve its “territorial integrity.”
