Texas Governor Faced President Biden and Complained
The event happened as the President arrived in the Lone Star State for a trip to the US-Mexico border, where he and the US customs and Border Protection agents met, together with the local elected leaders.
The travel is because of the president’s long come under attack from conservatives for not seeing the situation at the US-Mexico border in the first place, along with the rolling back issue of Trump-era immigration rules that were condemned long ago by Democrats as cruel.
Texas Governor Complained About Not Being Invited on the Border Visit
A letter was sent to President Joe Biden, handed by Greg Abbott, the letter consists of his concerns about the number of migrants that are currently experienced at the US-Mexico border region, which has been constantly rising during the two years of the President in the white house office. The letter includes a list of complaints that has steps not even moved by the Trump administration during Trump’s four years in office.
Those steps outlined in the letter include announcing drug cartels to be international terrorist groups, a great expansion of detentions and deportations of undocumented immigrants, and also the possible authorizing the US military against the drug cartels. He also asks for the Biden administration to release the migrants while their asylum claims are announced.
