Surveillance video shows a masked man walking into a CVS store in the East Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia. Fox News reports that he entered the pharma at around 8:40 p.m. on Wednesday.
He proceeded to brandish a gun in front of an employee and demanded money. The cashier told the suspect there was no money in the cashier.
He then ordered the employee to open the store’s safe; however, the employee found the office was locked.
After his failed attempt, the suspect fled the scene immediately.
Philadelphia police are looking for a man who was seen wearing gray sweatpants, a gray hoodie, a black jacket, and a blue mask. Philadelphia’s Northwest Detective Division asked anyone with information to call 215-686-3353.
