Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis’s decision to leave nothing to their children has resurfaced amid the recent nepotism discussion and is stirring much controversy online.

There was an increase in interest in nepo kids in December 2022 when a New York magazine article on nepotism in Hollywood went viral. Although famous people like Kate Hudson and Jamie Lee Kurtis have commented, Kutcher and Kunis have mainly avoided the spotlight—until now.

Earlier this week, the approximately 54,000-followed pop culture account Pop Tingz re-posted remarks Kutcher made on his and Kunis’s choice not to create trust funds for their children on Twitter.

The pair said in the first tweet that they “don’t want [their] children to grow] spoilt and entitled, and want [them] to be driven to work hard.”

Netizens Divided Over Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis’s Strategy

SheKnows (via Yahoo! News) reported that Twitter is battling about a piece of information concerning Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis’s financial strategy.

Kutcher first shared this information on the podcast Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert in 2018.

“If (our) kids want to start a business, and they have a good business plan, (we’ll) invest in it. But they’re not getting trust,” the Jobs star said.

It’s reasonable to assume that Twitter has been quite outraged by this revelation, which has caused much discussion.

Many people think that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis’s decision is something of a harsh act.

Several, however, supported this action, claiming that it wouldn’t ultimately impact their children.

A-list celebrities other than Kutcher and Kunis have also chosen not to leave their wealth to their offspring. On the same list are celebrities like Elton John, Bill Gates, Anderson Cooper, and Simon Cowell, to mention a few.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis first connected while watching That 70s Show, but they didn’t begin dating until 2012 and were married in 2015. Dimitri Portwood, 6, and Wyatt Isabelle, 8, are their joint children.
