Officials said a guy running from the police killed a 13-year-old girl in a suburban Detroit neighborhood while injuring five other individuals in a Michigan car crash.
On Wednesday evening, a Jeep Gladiator being pursued by Walled Lake police officers jumped a red light, striking a Honda Fit and a Chevrolet Equinox. WACO Tribune-Herald, citing the Oakland County sheriff’s office, said the Honda then collided with a Cadillac STX.

Michigan Car Crash 13-Year-Old Detroit Girl Dead on Arrival
Paramedics removed the 13-year-old girl from the vehicle after the Michigan car crash. 9and10News, citing the Associated Press, said the girl was pronounced dead on arrival.
The collision’s force threw her 10-year-old sister out of the Honda. In a hospital, she was in serious condition. The 51-year-old-mother, who was also the driver, was in critical condition.
The sheriff’s office said that it needed to be clarified whether they were buckled in.

Other People Injured
Michigan Now reported that seatbelts restrained both the Chevrolet’s 43-year-old driver and its 10-year-old passenger. A seatbelt likewise restrained the 58-year-old Cadillac driver. They received care at a hospital Wednesday night before being discharged.
Two individuals fled inside the vehicle after the Michigan car crash. There have been no detentions. The sheriff’s office withheld more information on the police pursuit.
The sheriff’s office was asked to look into the collision by the Walled Lake police.
Detroit lies 35 miles to the northwest of Walled Lake.
