“Major Announcement” is Coming for “Disgraced” George Santos as Republicans Attack

Rep. George Santos of New York, a Republican, is now dealing with a new issue after GOP officials said they would soon be making a “big statement” about the “disgraced” lawmaker.

Considering the ongoing controversy surrounding the news that Santos lied significantly about his past and qualifications before being elected to Congress in November, he was just seated in the newly Republican-controlled House. Due to the lies, he is the subject of numerous moral complaints and criminal inquiries.

Santos received additional bad news on Tuesday when a Nassau County GOP media alert suggested at a press conference for Wednesday. As their “strongest statement yet” on the “disgraced” congressman and their view on his place in Congress, it is planned to include a “big announcement” and “dozens” of Republicans, especially elected officials and Nassau County GOP Chairman Joseph Cairo.

Should Nassau County Republicans demand Santos resign, according to Semafor political reporter Kadia Goba, who tweeted the recommendation on Tuesday night, freshly elected GOP New York State Senator Jack Martins would be considered as a possible successor.

Democratic Representatives Ritchie Torres and Daniel Goldman of New York earlier on Tuesday requested an inquiry against Santos in a formal complaint they submitted to the House Ethics Committee.

According to George Santos’ confession, he is a complete scam, according to Goldman. He has stated that he did not complete college, did not work on Wall Street or in private equity, does not own property, and is not Religious which he made an effort to mislead Queens and Nassau County voters, among other things.
