Hundreds of Americans are struggling with surging inflation and rising living expenses.

Recipients of stimulus checks, such as Social Security check beneficiaries, are able to survive the current economic situation. The 8.7% increase in the Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) has been a great help for these recipients.

Who’s Receiving the Social Security Check Next Week?

The Social Security check is given based on the recipient’s birth date. Those who have birthdays on the 1st and the 10th day of the month will receive the payment on the second Wednesday of the month. Recipients who have birthdays between the 11th and 20th will receive the payment on the third Wednesday. And lastly, those born between the 21st and the 31st will receive the Social Security check on the fourth Wednesday.

Since next week is the third Wednesday of the month, those born between the 11th and the 20th will receive their Social Security check.

Payment for Supplemental Security Income is Available

The Social Security check is insufficient to cover the monthly basic living expenses of adults and children with disability. Marca reports that these recipients are also eligible to receive Supplemental Security Income or SSI payments.
