Stimulus Check is one of the hallmarks of the Biden administration during the wake of the pandemic to help millions of Americans combat its economic effect.
Fourth Stimulus Check
Stimulus checks have helped millions of Americans across the country during the wake of the pandemic. There have been different rounds released from 2020 to 2021 to make sure that struggling American families will meet their daily needs.
There is a call now to have a fourth stimulus check worth $3,600. Democratic Representative Adam Schiff sent a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the current House Majority leader Steny Hoyer on December 6 to take action on the fourth stimulus check.
His request or call for a new round of stimulus checks comes just one month before the Republicans will assume leadership in the House after the result of the midterm elections. Additionally, he is also calling that the Child Tax Credit should be expanded.

Rep. Adam Schiff Released A Statement
In a published article in The U.S. Sun, Schiff said, “While this Congress has delivered on many priorities, we are faced with the choice to continue essential programming that families desperately need, like the Child Tax Credit.”
He continued, “At a time when millions of Americans are struggling to make ends meet and the prices of everyday essentials are at record highs, it is our responsibility as Members of Congress to pass bold legislation and codify policies that will ultimately help reduce poverty, homelessness, and food insecurity for American children and workers.”
“At a time of enormous economic hardship, we are faced with a choice—to strengthen and expand these programs, or simply let them expire. In doing the latter, we miss a critical opportunity to invest in our youngest and most vulnerable members of society and their families.”
Aside from his call to expand the Child Tax Credit, he is also calling to increase the amount each eligible child should receive.
