Millions of Americans across the country are about to receive boosted $914 Social Security Check before the year ends.
$914 Social Security Check
Social Security Income is one of the sources of income and money for millions of Americans across the country. This month, there are two waves of payments but the second payment has increased compared to the first because of the cost of living allowance.
The $914 Social Security Income payment will be on Dec. 30. This is supposed to be a payment for January 20223, but since the first day of January falls into a Sunday then it will be sent out on the closest working day, which is Dec.30, according to Washington Examiner.
The Social Security Administration also said that December is of the three months this year that gives two payments. The other months were April and September.
How Much Eligible Recipients Will Receive?
Couples that qualify will get two payments totaling $1,261 for the month of December; in 2023, the sum will rise to $1,371. A $421 first payment and a $458 second payment will be sent on the same day to essential individuals, defined as those who reside with a recipient of Supplemental Security Income and provide the necessary care.
In order to ensure that beneficiaries get their monthly SSI benefits on the first of the month, the Social Security Administration issues the checks on the business day preceding weekends and holidays. One of these months is December since January 1, 2023, falls on a weekend and is a holiday.
