In the parking area of a Texas supermarket, two cheerleaders were killed after one of them opened a door to the wrong car

During a supermarket parking garage close to the capital of Texas, 2 young adult cheerleaders were killed when one claimed she has mistaken the suspect’s car for her own. This represents a minimum 3rd instance this week where teens who had made a clear misunderstanding got met with a gunshot.

The 25-year-old male who the authorities claim shot the 2 teenagers was taken into custody by the police. He was arrested early on Tuesday, according to a press release from the Elgin Police Department shortly thereafter.

Tello is charged with 3rd-degree criminal deadly behavior with a gun, as per a possible cause report. His detention is under a $500,000 bond. It was unclear right away if he has a lawyer.

Two individuals in a car who had been shot at were discovered by police officers Tuesday shortly after midnight in the parking garage of an H-E-B supermarket, according to police, confirming early reports. According to the announcement, one person suffered significant injuries and needed to be taken to a clinic; another individual received treatment on the spot.
