Suffolk County district attorney’s office told a news outlet that the human remains of four infants were found packed inside a freezer in an apartment in Boston.
Human Remains of Infants Found in an Apartment
Human remains of four infants, two males and two females, were found packed inside a freezer in an apartment in Boston this month. According to the police, they responded to a radio call around 2:15 p.m. to investigate an apartment in South Boston.
In the official press release, police authorities said that they found “what appeared to be a human fetus or infant,” and the following day they went back to the same building and brought a search warrant. At that day, they found and discovered more human remains.
James Borghesani, chief of communication with the Suffolk County district attorney’s office, confirmed that the four infants were found packed inside the freezer.
Who Owns the Apartment?
In a published article in PEOPLE, a single woman in her 60s owned the apartment for decades. Borghesani said, “The person was not living there at the time they were found. They still had ownership of the unit. Someone who was cleaning the unit found the packages and contacted the police.”
He also added, “The entire case is under investigation and the autopsies are being conducted by the Office of the Medical Examiner. We don’t know anything about the children at this point. There are many questions and the investigation is in the process of trying to find answers. ”
As of this time, no arrests or charges have been made and investigations about the human remains of four infants found in an apartment still continue.
