We initially believed it would only be a limited run. Then Good Omens was renewed for a second season, and we are now eager to watch it. The bad news is that this series isn’t included in the list of Prime Video releases for September.
Not very shocking, really. This series won’t be added by Amazon silently. We’ll learn the premiere date ahead of the schedule of shows because it’s a significant release for the streamer.
When will Season 2 of Good Omens be available on Prime Video?
A premiere date has not yet been set. Even trying to guess a date won’t be simple. Neil Gaiman has informed us that the post-production for this series is time-consuming. We might not get the season until the beginning of 2023.
The release of Good Omens Season 2 in 2022 is likely to occur in the latter part of the year. First up is The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Next, we anticipate Season 2 of Carnival Row. Amazon will want to spread out its most important stuff, we are certain of that.
Season 2 might be the final one. Given that there wasn’t even supposed to be a second season, that is most plausible. The plot is based on the partially completed Good Omens sequel. After Sir Terry Pratchett passed away, Gaiman decided not to finish it, but he has since changed his mind and will make it the second season of the Amazon series.
Aziraphale and Crowley will collaborate on a mystery. This time, the end of the world is not quite near. David Tennant and Michael Sheen appeared together in a few unexpected episodes of The Sandman if you need to see the two of them together.
