Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, seemed “so kind to me,” according to Donald Trump, who said that he “might never hit” him

Gavin Newsom is the governor of California, and Donald Trump did nothing but celebrate him, saying that he couldn’t beat him since they get along well. This caused some anger.

In a segment with Tucker Carlson that broadcast on April 11, Trump said, “You got a highly motivated person in California, yet he does a terrible job with the state.” When I was president, I got along with him a lot. Gavin and I got along great.”

“You and Gavin Newsom okay?” Carlson responded while expressing confusion.

“I did. I genuinely did. He usually spoke extremely kind stuff to me. The 76-year-old said, “He used to say something like, ‘He’s doing a terrific job. Regarding me, that’s because I was unable to strike him since he was so kind to me and patiently waiting, is that correct? However, compared to other people, he was kind to me.”

Undoubtedly, people had to comment on Trump’s comments given how disrespectful he was to his opponent Ron DeSantis, who has not yet declared whether he will run for the presidency in 2024.
