I’m concerned about capitalism, said 93-year-old Bernie Marcus in a current interview with The Financial Times. Home Depot was based on capitalism, on which millions of individuals have succeeded and earned success.
Marcus said, “Nobody works, nobody gives a damn,” about what he believes to be the growth of socialism in America. Please hand it to me. Donate to me. I don’t want to work because I’m too stupid, overweight, and lazy.” President Joe Biden, according to Marcus, “is the worst president in the history of our country.”
Politicians and business leaders have expressed dissatisfaction with Biden’s ideas, accusing him of having socialist leanings. Addressing in November 2022 at Jones Elementary in Joliet, Illinois, Biden just denied these claims.
The Hill claims that as protests held signs calling Biden a socialist, the vice president responded, “Give me a break. What fools. In his speech, Biden mentioned Sen. Rick Scott’s (R-FL) proposal to discontinue government programs every 5 years, which would need a vote to continue Medicare and Social Security, as a risk to American healthcare under proposed Republican policies.
Regarding Biden’s concentration on healthcare, those who disagree with his views cite the rising cost of living and the energy crisis as their biggest concerns. In a column published on March 11, 2021, Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Al) highlighted Biden’s cancellation of the Keystone pipeline, the end of digging on federal lands, and the lifting of sanctions on Russia’s Nord Stream II pipeline as factors leading to the increase in gas prices that Americans had to deal with in the previous year.
