CalFresh, California’s food stamp program, provides low-income households with monthly food benefits. Each month, benefits are distributed to CalFresh accounts linked to CalFresh EBT cards. Payments are made on the same day every month, and the day you receive your benefits is determined by the last digit of your case number.

To receive CalFresh benefits, you must meet income requirements and pass an income and resource test. The monthly gross income of most households must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.

Other CalFresh Perks and Discount

If you have Calfresh benefits, your Golden State Advantage card entitles you to FREE or reduced admission to fantastic destinations throughout California.

The majority of California EBT cardholders are unaware of the fantastic benefits that come with their card.

This includes admission discounts to museums, zoos, and aquariums, as well as a more than 50% discount on Amazon Prime Membership.

In addition, your Gold State Advantage card entitles you to discounted cell phone and home internet plans, as well as discounts at farmers markets and other locations.
