And China has now presented him with a fresh chance to put his visionary hat.
One-sixth of the world’s population, which is located in China, experienced a fall in population in 2022. Demographers think that number, which hasn’t been seen in sixty years, marks a historic turning point.
Since the 1960s, the nation’s population has increased by half, reaching over 1.4 billion people.
But according to the National Bureau of Statistics, there were 9.56 million births in China in 2022. 10.41 million deaths were reported at the same time. Ultimately, a population decline of 850,000 individuals happened.
