Disney continues to get criticism for its “woke” theme in the most recent episode of the rebooted The Proud Family.

Current Disney entertainment has received a lot of attention for its relaunch of the classic sitcom The Proud Family, namely for its most current “Juneteenth” episode. Several fans and commentators are confused about the Walt Disney Company, the industry powerhouse, in the wake of the episode.
In an episode of the program that is presently available on Disney+, a character by the name of Maya Leibowitz Jenkins (voiced by Keke Palmer) learns that her made-up town of Smithville was founded by a slave master. The hero is a gay multiracial couple’s 14-year-old activist child. When Maya plans a demonstration against the town’s creator, the kids are met with riot police.
The riot police pursue the kids while another character begs the officers to “help bring these kids in cuffs.” “Why are you in riot gear? ” The kids chant as the cops come nearer. We observe no riot in this area.”
