Chinese leader Xi Jinping carried out an inspection of the Central Military Commission (CMC) of the ruling Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and called on China’s military to prepare for war.

Xi Jinping Calls On China’s Military To Prepare for War

Xi Jinping, who serves as China’s president as well as the CCP’s leader and the chairman of the CMC, recently called on China’s military to devote all of its energy and prepare for war. The Chinese leader also asserted making combat readiness its singular priority. This aims to fight and win a potential future conflict.

This happened when Xi Jinping carried out an inspection of the CMC. He also told the CMC that the entire military of China “should devote all its energy to and carry out all its work for combat readiness, enhance its capability to fight and win, and effectively fulfill its missions and tasks in the new era.”

Xi Jinping Will Reunify With Taiwan Through Military Force

American Military News reports that Xi Jinping emphasizes China’s military readiness after he called to expand its military with new capabilities and more training. He also said during the twice-in-a-decade 20th Chinese Communist Party National Congress last month that he would push reunification with Taiwan.

The Chinese leader mentioned that he “held open the possibility of China reunifying with Taiwan by military force,” Even though Taiwan governs itself as an independent nation, China considers the island as part of its sovereign territory.
