Who can get a tax credit for a child?
Your kid or other dependent must be younger than 17 years old, in addition to having a Social Security number that is appropriate for use in the United States of America, in order to be eligible for employment assistance. They also need to have lived with you for more than half the year and be reported as a dependant on your tax return in order to qualify as your dependent.
To be eligible for the entire amount of the kid Child Tax Credit 2023 for each qualifying kid, you must meet all of the eligibility conditions. Your annual income should not be more than 200,000 dollars, or 400,000 dollars, if you are filing a combined return. If you do not meet all of the eligibility factors, you will not be eligible for the total amount of the Child Tax Credit.
