Investigators in California are offering a reward of $100,000 for information about the killing of Thea Slater, who was attacked and killed at work more than 20 years ago. As per, California police records, the crime is a “cold case.”

Slater was 39 years old when she was repeatedly stabbed to death at work in San Francisco on October 19, 2002. Local news station KTVU said Tuesday that the person who killed her got in through an unlocked door while she was working on the third floor of a townhouse.
The attack is thought to have started on the top floor, and the struggle continued on the bottom floor, the news source said.
A single mum like Slater couldn’t be saved. But officials say that police haven’t had any clues about the murder since 2002.
KTVU said that after more than 20 years, the California Police Department put up new signs about the cold case. The signs offer a $100,000 reward for information that leads police to the killer.
Reports say that the police will also run new tests on the DNA that was found at the crime scene.
Tiyesha Slater, her daughter, told KTVU that her mum “didn’t deserve this.”
Tiyesha Slater is said to have said, “Justice will be done.” “I love you mommy. I miss you.”
