Authorities said a shooting early on Saturday morning outside a short-term rental house in Los Angeles in Beverly Crest left three people dead and four others hurt.
The Associated Press said that the four injured were taken to the hospital; two are in serious condition while the other two are stable. The three deceased were discovered in a vehicle outside the residence.
The Los Angeles Police Department (via The New York Times) said a gunshot occurred at a vacation rental at around 2:30 am local time in the affluent area near Beverly Hills.
Officers are speaking to neighbors and requesting camera video from nearby homes even though they don’t feel the neighborhood is in danger, Fox News wrote.

Beverly Crest Shooting: 3 Dead, 4 Wounded in Short-Term Rental Residence
The LAPD said on Twitter that they had received several 911 calls requesting their arrival at the area in Beverly Crest, where they discovered five victims. Three were declared dead on arrival, and two as wounded.
CBS Los Angeles, two other patients drove themselves to a hospital, where paramedics then took them to a trauma center. Paramedics transported the two injured individuals who were still present to UCLA Medical Center.
Additional residents of the household, as well as neighbors and other witnesses, are being questioned, according to police, who described the residence where the victims were standing as a “short-term rental property” in Beverly Crest. There is currently no information available on a suspect or a reason for the crime.
The Gun Violence Archive, a nonprofit research organization that keeps tabs on gun violence by using police reports, news stories, and other public sources, said there have been at least 43 shootings in the United States this month in which four or more people have been hurt or killed.
