Media from South Korea has experienced a meteoric rise in popularity over the past 10 years and is now consumed more frequently than ever in the west.
Boy bands like BTS and Exo, girl bands like BLACKPINK and Red Velvet, and solo artists like IU, BoA, and Sunmi are just a few of the biggest pop stars to come out of South Korea.
Netflix has benefited greatly from the media boom in South Korea by making significant investments in k-dramas, movies, documentaries, and reality television. Netflix has quickly risen to the top of the list of streaming platforms for Korean content.
About The Show
A new musical reality series called Take 1 is airing. The aim of each episode is to showcase a different South Korean musician who will sing just one song but do so in an unforgettable way.
A countdown timer for each act’s performance is provided. Each act has the time allotted to them to decide where they would want to perform and who they would like to perform with them, such as dancers and other artists. However, the most crucial requirement is that each act performs in a single take.
