Officials detained an Oregon man had in connection with Aleah Aaron’s murder after detectives found the 25-year-old’s corpse in a remote region last week.
Oregon State Police said in a Herald News Report that Aaron, of Cave Junction in Oregon, was reported missing on March 30.
Police said that after taking the lead on the investigation, the department’s Serious Crimes Branch discovered Aleah Aaron’s corpse in a remote region in Cave Junction, Josephine County.

Investigators withheld the precise location of where the corpse was found at first.
A little town called Cave Junction may be found in southwest Oregon, close to the California border.

Authorities told KATU that Thomas R. Fuertes, 35, of O’Brien, Oregon, was detained on April 2 in connection with the killing of Aleah N. Aaron.
Due to allegations of murder and mistreatment of a body, officials brought Fuertes to the Josephine County Prison.
Oregon State Police pointed out in a Fox News report that Fuentes is accused of murder and “abuse of a body.”
“Due to the ongoing criminal investigation, we are unable to provide further information at this time,” police said in a statement obtained by Fox News.
Police investigators are looking for information from the public about the Oregon woman’s death and disappearance.
