Alabama Man Went Ballistic
An Alabama man, Christopher Andrighett, went violent and ballistic after his 14-year-old daughter told her mother that he might have an affair. This all started after Andrighetti created his own social media account and his daughter suspected that her father might be having an affair.
The Alabama man started beating her daughter by punching her and hitting her with a shower curtain rod and a piece of wood, the sheriff’s office said. The 14-year-old girl also told the officers that she was shoved to the floor and was thrown at her includes glass bottles, The New York Post reports.
How Did She Escape?
She was able to escape from the house when her father told her to clean up the mess. Sheriff officials said that the girl told them that when she went to the kitchen to get trash bags, she fled from the home when she notice that the door was open and went to her neighbor’s house.
They immediately called the police authorities to ask for help. When they arrived at their home, the Alabama man cowardly hid in a bedroom closet and covered in blood from self-inflicted cuts to his arms and waist, according to the Sheriff’s office.
Meanwhile, the deputies also saw broken beer bottles, a smashed-up Nintendo Switch and several blood droplets outside the mobile home’s door. The home was in disarray with laptops and television ruined. The Alabama man was charged with first-degree domestic violence, second-degree domestic violence and child abuse.
