A $4,555 Payment to a Social Security 2023
Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is now preparing for the million recipients of COLA Social Security that will be out next week. You will receive your Social Security check based on your birthdate, then the payments will go out automatically three Wednesdays a month.
If you were born between the 11th and 2oth of the month, your check will arrive next week, April 19, 2023. But if your birthdate is between the 21st and 31st of the month, then you are scheduled to receive the Social Security payment on April 26, 2023.
The Social Security cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for 2023 was the highest bump in monthly checks beneficiaries have received in four decades.
There are about 70 million beneficiaries who will be going to receive Social Security or Supplemental Security Income payments. Recipients not only include retirees but also disabled individuals and beneficiaries’ family members.
