Mass Shooting Incident in Louisville

Connor Sturgeon, a 25-year-old bank employee brutally killed his coworkers using a newly purchased AR-15-style rifle. Five people were killed in the shooting incident, including a police rookie who just graduated from the police academy 10 days earlier.

After knowing his son is carrying a gun, she automatically called 911 and informed them that his son is heading toward the Old National Bank. The call which came in at 8:41 in the morning, Monday, was one of the calls released by 911 to the public on Wednesday specifying the panic and fear during the mass shooting.

The shooter, Connor Sturgeon live-streamed the horrible assault, which took place about 30 minutes before the bank was set to open. According to the audio files released by the officials, the first caller came from a woman who works at a different branch of Old National Bank and witnessed the shooting through live stream.

Another caller tells the 911 operator about the falling of one officer, 25-year-old Nickolas Wilt. “I just wanted to make sure you understood that there was an officer down,” the caller tells the operator, “There are several officers here now, but the one hasn’t moved since he’s been shot. … I haven’t seen a foot or anything moving,” the caller added.

Sturgeon had interned at the bank for three summers and been employed there full-time for about two years. This information is based on the LinkedIn profile presented.
